Sophie and I have just arrived back from a week in North Cornwall. We did some beautful coastal walks. Our first walk was from Constantine Bay around to Harlyn Bay - past Booby's Bay which we all found very funny! Our second walk started began in Trevone and we walked right over to the gorgeous town of Padstow. We managed to lose our £15 OS map along the way when it flew out of my pocket. The wind took it into the next field but luckily we managed to get it back! It looks very battered now but we're glad it looks like it has been used!

As we approached Hawkers Cove we came across the National Coastwatch Institution lookout point at Stepper Point. They invited us into their small building where they told us all about what they do and let us look at all of the instruments they use. The NCI are an excellent charity run entirely by volunteers and help to save many lives every year!

Overall, we had an amazing time in Cornwall. The scenery on the coastal walks was absolutely gorgeous and we would recommend it to anyone!
